Arrangements for Kalyanotsavam reviewed

Kakinada: Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Temple trust board is making elaborate arrangements for the ensuing eight-day Kalyanotsavam scheduled to be held from April 25 to May 1.

Temple executive officer Marisetti Jitendra reviewed the arrangements with the officials of police, revenue, endowments, roads and buildings and irrigation department in his chamber on Friday.

The meeting discussed  supply of drinking water along with free food to the devotees and artistes who come from various places, supply  of power without any interruption, regulation of traffic on ghat roads, lighting on the entire sacred shrine along with illumination, 

accommodation to VIPs, VVIPs and devotees, seating arrangements to VIPs and VVIPS,  free distribution of prasadams and performing of Chakrasnanam in River Pampa.
Meanwhile, the meeting also discussed about security arrangements.
