Guntur: Brahmana Chaitanya Vedika state co-convener Siripurapu Sridhar has said that former chief secretary IYR Krishna did not mention facts in ‘Yevaridee Rajadhani’ book which was released two  days  ago.

Addressing the media here on Friday, Sridhar reminded that land was acquired during the tenure of IYR Krishna for the construction of state capital. The latter applied for permission from the Centre for land acquisition. Sridhar said that now he (IYR) was questioning about land acquisition for capital.

“IYR applied for loans from the World Bank. With the assistance given by the World Bank, the state government is implementing the drinking water schemes, providing infrastructure in the municipalities and continuing rural development programmes,” he said.

Sridhar reminded that IYR held discussions with the representatives of foreign countries to attract investments. He alleged that IYR purchased lands in Donakonda and joined hands with YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to shift capital to Donakonda.
