Vysyas told to work for needy
Kakinada: Vasavi Clubs International president V Vasudeva Rao, has advised Vysyas to elevate themselves in all fields in society and also put their effortsfor the welfare of society.
Participating in Vasavi Clubs meeting held here on Saturday, he said that the club came into existence with an aim to develop friendship, leadership qualities and also to inculcate the habit of service for the needy by community. At present, there are 2,000 clubs in the world with two lakh members, doing service to society.
Scholarships also will be given to the poor merit students from the clubs and help will extending to the aged as well as orphans. The club adopted 60 students this year and it takes the responsibility of their studies from Intermediate to degree course.
Pilot faculty G Nageswara Rao said the clubs were in frontline in serving the needy in society. Leadership qualities come only with hard work and dedication. He advised Vasavi Clubs to serve the needy on a massive scale in future.
