BJP, YSRCP, JSP colluded to defame TDP, alleges MLC

Rajamahendravaram: TDP MLC Adireddy Appa Rao has said that BJP government is still trying to convince the people relating to Special Category Status (SCS), though it lost confidence of the people in Andhra Pradesh. The BJP government is trying to grill Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu with baseless allegations, he said.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he said Jana Sena Party (JSP), YSRCP and BJP had colluded and trying to pose problems to Naidu. The TDP was also fighting for SCS with commitment. However, the three parties were trying to spoil the movement for their own interests.  Not able to digest the response coming to TDP in the state, the three parties were bent on destabilising the state, he alleged.

Resignations of YSRCP MPs was nothing but a drama directed by the BJP. Because of the resignations, the MPs had lost an opportunity to enter into Parliament and question about SCS, he reasoned. The TDP ministers resigned to their posts and the party walked out of alliance with NDA over the SCS.

On the contrary, the YSRCP and JSP had now been demanding that the TDP MPs resign for which Naidu rejected it. If MPs resign, who would question the Central government in Parliament about SCS, he wondered. The Central government would bow before the state, if all parties fight united for SCS, he said.

He advised the leaders of BJP, JSP and YSRCP to put an end to their baseless allegations against Naidu. The people were observing the parties and their activities and they would decide the fate of parties who had been cheating the state.
