2-day yoga meet commences

Rajamahendravaram: A two-day regional meet on yoga under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) of ONGC commenced on the premises of ONGC Base Complex here on Wednesday. Students from 68 Kendriya Vidyalayas of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states have been taking part in the event. 

After inaugurating the meet, ONGC Asset Manager PK Pandey said that yoga practice would help in maintaining sound health, good physique etc. Yoga was an ancient form of medical system and through yoga many chronic diseases could also be cured.

He advised the students to spare some time for yoga everyday and urged the managements of Kendriya Vidyalayas to encourage yoga among the students.
