Mahatma worked for uplift of weaker sections

Guntur: Urban Superintendent of Police Ch Vijaya Rao paid tributes to the Jyoti Rao Phule on the occasion of his birth anniversary  in Guntur city on Wednesday.Speaking on this occasion he said that Jyothi Rao Phule worked for the uplift the weaker sections in society. 

He urged people to draw inspiration from him and work for the uplift the poor. He said that trying to achieve his goal was real tribute to him. He reminded services rendered by the latter to the backward classes and weaker sections in society and how he fought to protect their rights.
