Annual art Exhibition inaugurated
Vijayawada: Assembly Deputy Speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad has said fine arts department of Yogi Vemana University will get nationwide recognition soon as the varsity students showcased their talent on the canvas in an excellent manner.He was the chief guest at the three-day annual art exhibition ‘Vibgyor’ at Cultural Center of Vijayawada and Amaravathi here on Friday.
The art works and sculptures of K Rajamohan Reddy, B Earappa, M Bhargavi, K Prem Kumar, K Noorullah, BV Pragna, P Gayathri were displayed.
The show is curated by the university assistant professor K Mrutyunjaya Rao. He said with this show, the students were entering into the threshold of art field as the full time career. He said that M Bhargavi paintings give the symphony of butterflies, B Erappa paintings revels the man’s inner deep emotions imbued with yogic and symbolic aspects of one’s religious beliefs.
CCVA CEO Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, university faculty members, Santosh, Venkatesh and E Sujatha and representatives of Vijayawada Art Society and others were present.
