Ministers lay stone for Kalyanamandapam

Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister N China Rajappa has said that their government is allotting Rs 1,000 crore every year for the Kapu Corporation and also constructing marriage halls for Kapus in the state.

He along with Minister for Mines Venkata Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao unveiled the foundation stone for constructing a Kapu Kalyanamandapam at a cost of Rs two crore at Lingamparthy village in Prathipadu constituency here on Sunday evening.
  
Speaking on this occasion, Rajappa said that these marriage halls would be very useful to all sections of society. He said that besides loans to Kapus, the corporation was also giving loans to the students who want to study abroad.

Speaking on this occasion, chief guest of the ceremony Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao said that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was developing the state even though the state was in deep financial crisis. He also said that the CM was providing the basic infrastructure facilities in the villages for the development of the villages.Later, they inaugurated the SC Community Hall which was built at a cost of Rs 20 lakh at the Ambedkar Nagar in Ligamparthy village.

Prathipadu MLA Varupula Subba Rao presided over the ceremony.DCCB chairman Varupula Raja, ZP chairman Jyothula Navin and others participated in the meeting.
