Narayana elected as IPA president
Rajamahendravaram: Vikas Pharmacy College director Dr TV Narayana was elected as president for Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), which is the apex body of pharmacy field in the country. After serving two decades in the field of pharmacy, he was elected to the post.
Speaking to ‘The Hans India’, Dr TV Narayana said that plans are afoot to implement a scheme to provide drug information in IPA branches with a phone call available in public domain, which was successfully implementing in West Bengal.
“IPA wants to intensify drug awareness campaign through IPA local community pharmacy division. IPA also wants to impart hospital training programme to Pharm D students through hospital pharmacy division, along with industrial training programmes. The IPA is playing a pivotal role in the field of pharmacy in the country,” he added.
Later, managements of pharmacy colleges of twin Godavari districts felicitated Dr TV Narayana, along with Aditya Sesha Reddy, Gollapalli Surya Rao, Chaitanya Group chairman KVV Satyanarayana Raju.
