Free medical camp for senior citizens held

Vijayawada: A special medical camp for senior citizens was organised by Kamineni Hospital at Sarvodaya Trust here on Friday.The Kamineni Hospital marketing in-charge, G Murali Krishna said that the hospital conducts free medical camp every month on 20th on the trust premises. Free check-up of BP, sugar and eye were held at the camp. 

About 100 patients visited the camp and were tested and medicines were given to them free of cost. A general medicine specialist examined the patients who visited the camp.He said that after the examinations and tests, if the patient needs any further treatment they would refer to the hospital.
