RTA officials protest for SCS

Guntur: In support of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s deeksha in Vijayawada, the Road Transport Authority staff led by Deputy Transport Commissioner GC Raja Ratnam sported black badges and protested at the DTC office here on Friday. They extended their support and solidarity to Naidu and demanded that the Centre accord Special Category Status to AP.

Addressing the gathering, Raja Ratnam said that the Centre cheated the people of AP and rejected to give SCS to AP and not extending support to the state. He criticised that the Centre had failed to fulfill the promises mentioned in the SCS.

The agitators raised slogans for SCS.RTO Y Rama Swamy, officials Siva Nageswara Rao, Murali Krishna, Bheema Rao were among those participated in the protest.
