Rally held for success of Bijili bandh tomorrow

Guntur: CPI district secretary J Ajay Kumar, urged the people to make the proposed Bijili bandh on April 24 a success.Leaders under the aegis of the Pratyeka Hoda Sadhana Samithi conducted a rally from Ambedkar statue in Guntur on Saturday. They would stop power supply for half-an-hour duration to register their protest for the SCS. 

He said that except BJP, all the political parties found fault with the Centre for failure to accord the SCS. Development was possible with the SCS only. He warned that in case of need, they would observe Sakalajanula Samme to mount pressure on the Centre for the SCS.

YSCRP city president Lella Appi Reddy said that development was possible with the SCS. He urged the people to make Bijili bandh on April 24 a success.

The Congress leader, Suravaram Rohit said that people of AP would teach a lesson to the BJP in the coming elections as they did to the Congress in the previous elections.
