CPI protests for houses to be sanctioned

Eluru: The area secretary of Communist Party of India P Kannababu, demanded that the government should sanction houses and house sites for all the eligible people. Demanding the house sites for the poor, the CPI staged a dharna in front of MRO office, here on Monday. 

The district party secretary D Prabhakar, who was the chief guest of the event said the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu promised three cents of land for the eligible people four years ago, but now he has not kept his promise up. Kannababu said said though CPI took initiative and identified the eligible people and submitted list to the MRO in 2016, no action was taken so far.

He warned that they would intensify aitation, if no action was taken. CPI Eluru Area Samithi additonal secretary U Hemasankar, N Amanuddin, U Ravi, S Ramalakshmi, U Lakshmi, Vijayanirmala, K Mary, P Pentaiah, G Sarada, R Roja, N Varalakshmi, S Parvathi, R Nagamani, S Latha, P Manga, Rukmini, S Krishna, Bharathi Subrahmanyam, K Kannaiah, N Achyut and others were present.
