Eligible poor gets raw deal in house site distribution: CPI

Kakinada: Seeking house sites and pucca houses for the eligible poor, the CPI activists staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Monday.They raised slogans against the government and demanded that it immediately sanction of house sites to the poor in and around the Kakinada city.

Speaking on this occasion, the CPI district secretary, Tatipaka Madhu asked the government to sanction pucca houses for the poor in the state. He alleged that the ruling party politicians were choosing the beneficiaries leaving the real needy persons for housing. He wanted the government to sanction the house sites and pucca houses to really poor people.

CPI leader Nakka Kishore, AIYF leader Y Babi, Ganta Veera Babu and others participated in the dharna.
