Yanamala inaugurates electric substation

 Kakinada: Minister for Finance Yanamala Ramakrishnudu launched a 33/11 KV electric substation at Chidiga village here on Monday evening.

Speaking on this occasion, Yanamala said that the electric substation which was built with a cost of Rs 1.5 crore in a half-acre area (50 cents) under the IPDS (Integrated Power Development Scheme). A total of 5,790 services would come under its purview.

He said that quality and uninterrupted power supply would be possible by this substation. He further informed that nearby villages like Kovvada, Repuru, Indrapalem and Ganaganapalli would also come under its ambit.Kakinada Rural MLA Pilli Anantha Lakshmi and others participated.
