Summer training camp for students begins

Eluru: Jayavarapu Sri Ramamurthy, chairman, Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha, West Godavari has stressed the need to inculcate the book reading habit among the children and the parents should take the responsibility of it.He inaugurated the summer training camp for students held at Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Ramamurthy said that the Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha had launched the summer training camp for the students to train them in the drawing, chess, essay-writing, communication skills, writing skills, photography besides creating awareness on road safety. The camp would continue till June 6, he added.

MLC Ramu Suryarao said that every student should visit libraries to acquire knowledge. He assured that he would try to bring more useful books to the library.Corporator of 25th division B Kiran Kumar said the children should concentrate on social work also.
Deputy DEO Vijaya Kumar suggested the students to utilise the summer training camp.

AP Librarians  Association district secretary L Venkateswara Rao, YMHA vice-president Majji Kanta Rao, Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha secretary G Nagayya, District Writers Association general secretary B Nagaraju participated in the programme.
