Dalits urged to take part in million march in large numbers

Ongole:  Former MP of Amalapuram GV Harshakumar has called upon Dalits to take part in the proposed May 18 million march to be taken out from Nagarjuna University to Mangalagiri in large numbers to put pressure on the Center. 

He was taking part in a round table held at the Press Club here on Sunday. Earlier, his bus yatra, launched to protest against the Apex court and the Center’s stand on SC and ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, reached here as part of the state-wide tour. Former MP Chinta Mohan, Prakasam district Dalit Aikya Vedika Convener Raj Vimal Gurrala and others took part in the programme.
