Health camp inaugurated by VMC Commissioner
Vijayawada: VMC Commissioner J Nivas, appreciated the Credai for organising health camp in association with Nagarjuna Hospitals at Siddhartha Pharmacy College here on Sunday.Addressing the gathering after inauguration of the camp, he appreciated Credai for organising health check up for the people who need the most. He said that health camps were essential for construction workers who were exposed to pollution and were prone to various health problems.
Nagarjuna Hospitals oncologist Rajesh said that the camp was organised to create awareness on cancer and occupation related diseases.
Gynecologist Sharadhamba said many women suffer from breast cancer and cervical cancer. By organising these awareness and health camps the workers and their families would be benefited, she said and added that every woman after 30 years should get breast cancer check up.
Madhuri, general physician said that sudden loss of weight was a symptom for many diseases. One should get the Sugar and BP tested regularly to stay fit and healthy.Credai members, Nagarjuna Hospitals staff and paramedical staff were present.
