Pratibha awards presented to AKNU students

Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu distributed Pratibha awards to 67 students of arts, science, commerce and engineering courses at the campus here on Monday. A medal, a cheque for Rs 20,000 and a certificate was given to the students.

Later, addressing the students, the vice-chancellor said the students of the university were clever and intelligent and they could pursue anything with their
committement and dedication. But, the students should update their knowledge from time to time to compete with others. It was the time to fix a goal and put their efforts to achieve it, he said.

The V-C informed that because of internet, the entire world was converted into a small village and now it was easy to know things and update themselves. The students should also build the character, which was very important to get identified by society.
Registrar Dr T Ashok, Prof K Sri Ramesh and others were present.
