Lorry drivers stage dharna: Tense situation at Tadipudi sand ramp

Tadipudi:  Lorry drivers staged dharna on Main Road near sand ramp, here on Thursday. Many vehicles on the road came to stand still and the line went up to some kilometres. The agitators alleged that they were stopped at the ramp since last night without food and water. 

YSRCP leaders and activists stopped the movement of lorries from sand ramp, blaming illegal sand transportation, on Wednesday.

YSRCP convener and former MLA Taneti Vanitha alleged that with the support of TDP leaders sand mafia become a menace to the people.
