Women AR constables’ passing out parade tomorrow

 Rajamahendravaram: Urban Superintendent of Police B Rajakumari has said that a passing out parade of women Armed Reserve constables will be held at Police Training Institute on May 5.

Speaking to reporters at her office here on Thursday, she said training was imparted to 181 women Armed Reserve constables for nine months. For the first time, women constables were recruited in Armed Reserve wing.The trained constables studied from Intermediate to postgraduate courses and some of them completed engineering courses.

Out of them, one candidate was qualified in M Tech followed by three candidates in B Tech, 10 PG candidates, one B Pharmacy candidate, 79 Intermediate candidates and 87 candidates were others. Training was imparted to them in squad drill, armed drill, lotty drill, teargas and mobile operating, field craft, traffic drill, dais, fire drill, e-learning, first aid etc.

Minister for Finance Yanamala Rama Krishnudu and many VIPs would participate in the pass out parade programme.Necessary facilities would be provided in the training institute for the inmates.The Police Training Institute vice-principal, R Satyanandam and others were present.
