Book on retired IAS official released
Vijayawada: Assembly Deputy Speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad has said N Mukteswara Rao, a retired IAS officer and special officer TTD, was a role model for the young cadre officers.
The deputy speaker was the chief guest at the function held to mark release of book on Mukteswara Rao here on Sunday. The programme was organised jointly by the department of language and culture, the Krishna District Writers Association, the Andhra Arts Academy and the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati.
Addressing the gathering, Buddha Prasad lauded the selfless services rendered by Mukteswara Rao in various positions of his career.Dr LV Subrahmanyam, special chief secretary, youth services and sports department said that Mukteswara Rao was a straight forward person and people’s officer.
Later, Mukteswara Rao and author Dr PV Ranganayakulu of the biography were felicitated.Guntur Range income tax officer Madhavi, Archeology department Commissioner Dr Vani Mohan, Cooperative department commissioner J Murali, CCVA CEO Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, Golla Narayana of Andhra Art Academy and others were present.
