Cultural programmes mark Happy Sunday

Rajamahendravaram: Various cultural programmes such as group dances, skits, melody songs, solo performances etc were conducted in connection with Happy Sunday at Pushkar Ghat here. One programme relating to the importance of blood donation attracted the audience.

 Students of municipal corporation schools, dance  academies and private schools performed the programmes. Some non-governmental organisations also took part in the programmes. The students participated with placards asking the people to donate blood.Municipal Corporation Commissioner V Vijayarama Raju participated in the programmes.
