AKNU CET begins on peaceful note
Rajamahendravaram: The two-day Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) CET-2018 commenced peacefully at eight centres in East Godavari, West Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts on Tuesday.
About 97 percent of students attended to the examination on the first day of CET. The CET was conducted in Chemical Science, English, Geology, Humanities and Social Science. On Wednesday, the CET will be held in Life Sciences, Hindi, Mathematical Sciences, Telugu and Physical Sciences.
Director of admissions Dr D Jyothirmayi, assistant directors Dr KV Swamy and Dr K Deepthi supervised the examinations.
AKNU Vice-Chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu has said that CET was conducted without any scope for malpractices. Route officers, special officers and observers were appointed for the smooth conduct of the CET, he added.
