CPI to organise Jeep Jaata for SCS soon

Kakinada: CPI state committee member Ravula Venkayya on Tuesday announced that the party would organise Jeep Jaata for Special Category Status and for overall development of East Godavari district soon.

Addressing the party district unit meet organised here, the veteran CPI leader said that the political parties should come together to fight united for the SCS, instead of going in for separate agitations.

He said that the recent untimely rains affected farming community very badly.  He asked the state government to extend all the needed help to these sections.

CPI East Godavari unit secretary Tatipaka Madhu, speaking on the occasion, said that though the tenure of present TDP government would conclude within a span of one year from now, no concrete development had taken place in the last four years in the industrial front.  

The party senior leader, Nakka Nagesh presided over the meet. The party leaders and activists from various parts of the district attended.
