Girls outnumber boys in Nannaya CET

 Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannya University (AKNU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu has said that more girls attended for Nannaya CET-2018 when compared with boys this year. There is an increase in the number of girl students in higher education with the emergence of AKNU in the city. The girls have been proving their might, he said.

He inspected CET examination centres along with the officials here on Wednesday. He informed that the university had conducted CET strictly in eight centres in the districts of Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari.

The CET was conducted for Life Sciences, Hindi, Mathematical Sciences, Telugu and Physical Sciencs, he added.Director of Admissions Dr D Jyothirmayi, observors S Rama Krishna, Dr K Syamuel Peter and Raghavacharyulu were present.
