Gidugu appointed as AICC secretary in-charge for Odisha

Kakinada:  Former MLC from East Godavari  and senior Congress leader Gidugu Rudraraju has been appointed as  AICC  secretary and was entrusted with  the affairs of Odisha.According to Gidugu, the appointment was made by AICC president Rahul Gandhi.The senior Congress leader was expecting victory for Congress in Karnataka Assembly polls to be conducted on May 12.

 He said that the Karnataka Telugu Associations strongly supporting Congress as the Modi government refused the Special Category Status to AP.Stating that he toured several Telugu-speaking areas in Karnataka during his campaign in the last one week, he expressed confidence that local Telugu people would support the Congress.

The Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Siddaramayya would wrest the elections to form the government for the second time in a row, Gidugu hoped.
