Meet on SC/ST Act judgment tomorrow

Guntur: MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad said that Amaravati Institute of Science will conduct a meeting on recent Supreme Court judgment on SC/ST Atrocity Act and disputes between judges at the ZP Conference Hall here on May 12. 

Addressing a press meet held here on Thursday, he said that the recent Supreme Court judgment on SC/ST Act was diluting the act and worrying Dalits.

He said that ANU retired professor Subhramanyam, former IAS officer P Krishnan, retired judge of High Court Justice KG Sankar and others would participate in the meeting. He urged the people to make the meeting a success.
