New JC takes charge

Eluru: M Venugopal Reddy took charge as Joint Collector of West Godavari district on Thursday.  P Koteswara Rao, the outgoing Joint Collector handed over the charge to Venugopal Reddy at his chamber.  District Revenue Officer Satyanarayana welcomed the new Joint Collector.

Speaking on the occasion, Venugopal Reddy said that he would try his level best for the all-round development of the district.Venugopal Reddy so far worked as Deputy Secretary of Energy Infrastructure and Investment department. He worked as RDO of Nellore, Sub-Collector of Rajamahendravaram and CEO of Chittoor Zilla Parishad, DWAMA project director at Chittoor.  

The Collectorate Administrative Officer, Suryanarayana, Superintendents Dora, Sumati, Nayak and Ramadevi also welcomed the new Joint Collector.   P Koteswara Rao, the outgoing Joint Collector was appointed as Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Public Commission by the government.
