MLA lays stone for road, drain
Eluru: MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) has assured that the government will develop Sanivarapupeta village, which is going to merge with Eluru Municipal Corporation, at a cost of Rs 100 crore.He laid foundation stone to a road and drain to be constructed with a cost of Rs 50 lakh in Sanivarapupeta village in Eluru mandal on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that seven panchayats were going to merge in Eluru Municipal Corporation soon and Sanivarapupeta was one of it. He said that he had taken up a campaign to create awareness on the merger of the Panchayats to clear the misunderstandings among the public of these seven panchayats.
He said that Rs 14 crore had been spent on the extension of roads in Sanivarapupeta village and the traffic problem was solved in the village. He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had approved the extension of Sanivarapupeta -Duggirala road as double line and Rs 14 crore had been sanctioned for construction of the double line road and drains.
Eluru Mandal Parishad president Moru Hymavathi, ZPTC member Matta Rajeswari, Sanivarapupeta Sarpanch Lurthamma participated in the programme.
