NSS distributes nutrition kits to patients

Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu has said that National Service Scheme (NSS) is a forum to the students to serve society and also inculcate the habit of doing service.

Distributing nutrition kits to the patients in government headquarters hospital here on Friday, he said the university NSS wing received many state and national level awards because of its service rendered to society.

Every student should join NSS and avail the opportunity to help the needy, which benefits a lot in their future. NSS was a good organisation and its volunteers
were participating in many programmes. NSS should be made part and parcel of life of every student.

Distributing nutrition kits to the patients was a good service and advised the volunteers to continue the service even after completion of their education.
The Government Headquarters Hospital superintendent, NSS coordinator, and others were present.
