Solve petitions on priority basis, officials told

Guntur: The GMC received 40 representations from the people  during the Meekosam programme conducted in the GMC office on Monday.

Most of the grievances were relating to the town planning, drinking water, engineering and public health department. The GMC Additional Commissioner, K Ramachandra Reddy forwarded the petitions received in the Meekosam to the concerned departments to solve the problems.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that Meekosam programme was useful to solve the problems on the spot and to directly interact with the officials to solve the problems. He urged the people to avail the facility provided by the GMC.

He directed the officials to solve the petitions received in the Meekosam on the priority basis.GMC superintendent engineer P Srinivasa Rao, town planning and public health department officials were present.
