YSRCP leaders take up Vanchanapai Garjana

Ongole: YSRCP MLAs and leaders from the 13 Assembly constituencies in Prakasam district took up Vanchanapai Garjana, a padayatra for two days, on Monday and Tuesday, in solidarity to their party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy who completed 2,000 kilometers of walk in Sankapla Yatra and to explain the failures of the TDP government in implementation of reorganization act and poll promises.

The Ongole parliament constituency president, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy started his two-day yatra from Gundamala village in Kothapatnam mandal on Monday. 

On his passing through Gundamala, Motumala, Padarthi, Rangayapalem Pallepalem and Kothapatnam villages, he garlanded YS Rajasekhara Reddy statues and interacted with the salt producers and fishermen communities. They complained about the crisis they were facing now and asked him to design welfare schemes for them to implement in the Jaganmohan Reddy government after Assembly elections next year.

Srinivasa Reddy explained them about the Navaratnalu, the nine welfare schemes designed to cover for everyone in the state and promised to discuss their issues at higher levels. The YSRCP leaders, Damaraju Kranthi Kumar, Singaraju Venkatarao, Kuppam Prasad, Ganta Ramu and others also walked with the former minister.

In Yerragondapalem, Santanutalapadu MLA Adimulapu Suresh started the Vanchanapai Garjana and continuing the padayatra. The Parchur YSRCP in-charge Ravi Ramanatham Babu started his padayatra from Swarna village in Karemchedu mandal.
