3.5 lakh pensions to be sanctioned
Rajamahendraavaram: Minister for Finance Yanamala Rama Krishnudu has said that 3.50 lakh new pensions will be sanctioned in the State shortly. Though the State is passing through financial crunch since four years the government has sanctioned 53 lakh pensions, he recalled.
Participating in the Assembly constituency-level party meeting at Sitanagaram on Sunday, he said an amount of Rs 70,000 was spent relating to 103 welfare schemes to the people and an amount of Rs 500 crore also allotted for housing schemes in the state.
At present, as many as 16 lakh houses are under construction in the State and the government is working not giving scope for any criticism.
MP Maganti Murali Mohan said though there is deficit in the budget, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is not going back on welfare schemes and working hard for the development of the state.
MLA Mendurthi Venkatesh assured the party workers to sort out the problems in the constituency. ZP Chairman Jyothula Naveen Kumar, Agricultural Market Committee chairman K Nageswara Rao and others were present.
