Lorry cleaner killed by owner

Pithapuram: A lorry cleaner was killed by his owner at Kondevaram village in U Kothapalli mandal near here on Sunday. According to sources, lorry owner Kammala Ramesh Babu hit the lorry cleaner Thota Yesubabu (29) in an inebriated condition, as the latter quit his job. 

Ramesh, who came across Yesubabu at liquor shop in the village on Sunday afternoon, asked him why he was leaving the job. This led to an exchange between the two. Ramesh, who was under the influence of alcohol, picked up a stone and hit Yesubabu on the head. 

Yesubabu returned home and lied down on the cot. In the evening, his wife and children found Yesubabu dead.
