Awards presented to women milk producers

Hyderabad: There will be progress and development only with sustainable livelihood of the people, observed Dalmia Industry head Anil Bajaj here on Monday. Addressing a meeting of Milk Producers’Cooperative Society at Nawabpet(Kadapa dist), he has stated that villages provide varied means of livelihood to the people.

Bajaj presented awards to women members who achieved high milk production last year. Among the award-winners are Dandu Meramma and PatnamRangialamma (`uttamamahila’). He handedover women production bonus of Rs. 29,000 and has stated that it was earned due to their hard work. He wished that the women would strive to achieve more progress in future.

Among those present at the function were Dalmia Technical Head KarunakarRao, HR chief Sanjeev Kumar, head of CSR wing Rajasekhar Raju, Chairman of society Pramilamma, Board of Directors Subhavathi, Gurulakshmi, Veronica, Prashanti. The CSR staff present included SivakoteswaraRao, Srinivasulu, Rajesh Kumar, GuruppaRatnakar, Nagarjuna and local students.
