7 killed in ghastly road accidents

Kurnool: In two separate road accidents, as many as nine people have been killed and several others have been injured in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. 

Four people have been killed at Kotekallu village in Yemmiganur mandal in Kurnool district when the Tata Ace in which they were travelling in crashed a container van on the highway. 

The deceased have been identified as Karremma (65), Anjanamma (55) and auto driver Bheemi Reddy (45) from Yemmiganur. 
One Khadar Basha (48) from Banavasi succumbed to his while undergoing treatment in government hospital. Another 10 people in the vehicle were seriously injured. Six among them were stated to be in critical condition. 

In another ghastly road mishap in Chittoor district, three people have been killed when an auto collided with a lorry. The incident occurred at Kalpalli village in Gangavaram mandal in the district. Auto driver Subramaniam (30), a painter from Palamner named Alex (50) were killed at the accident spot while one Munna Bhee(51). Another five persons who were grievously were shifted to a hospital in Vellore.
