AP Govt Finds Nine Ways To Mobilise Funds For New Capital

Andhra Pradesh state government has found nine options to mobilise funds for the construction of new capital in Amaravathi.  

The CRDA ( Capital Region Development Authority)  had estimated it required Rs 29,676 crore for the construction of new capital in the first phase in three years. In all, it required Rs 58,000 crore for complete construction of Amaravathi capital.  

The CRDA officials are planning to mobilise funds from the sale of lands development in the capital region, central government schemes,  issuing convertible bonds, loans from ADB, public private partnership and loans from LIC. It is also under consideration to seek funds through equity shares, funding from  international agencies and issue of NRI,  Masala and green bonds.
