Amaravati Marathon on January 7, here are the details

Amaravati: Vijayawada Commissioner of Police Goutham Sawanth on Tuesday said all arrangements are in place for Amaravati Marathon that would be conducted on January 7. 

Speaking to media persons here in the city, the Police Commissioner said the 10k Marathon is being conducted under the aegis of the Hyderabad-based NGO — DEEP Trust. Along side, 5k Fun Race will also be held, he said.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will flag off the marathon run at 6 am at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium. Enthusiasts and youth who would like to take part in the marathon run should register themselves online — www.Amaravatimarathon.run. It is expected that about 7,000 people would participate in the event.
