Chief Whip flags off Janmabhoomi rally

Rajampet: Local MLA and Government Chief Whip Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy on Tuesday flagged off the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru rally here. Addressing the participants, he appealed to the people to make the fifth phase of Janmabhoomi programme from January 2 to 11 a grand success. Among those present were RDO Veerabrahmam, Municipal Commissioner S V Ramana Reddy, TDP state secretary Dr P Sudhakar, TDP town president T Sanjiva Rao, district women’s wing president Mallela Srivani, Janmabhoomi Committee members Manubolu Venkatasubbaiah, Abdullah, Bapanayya Naidu, 

Meanwhile, the Municipal Commissioner inaugurated the Janmabhoomi programme at Edigapalem elementary school and administered a pledge to the gathering. He read the Janmabhoomi message of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Reddy explained to the officials and the gathering the development works and welfare schemes being taken up by the government, including pensions, housing and distribution of house-sites. 

Those who attended included DE Srinivasulu, AE K Mohan, Town Planning Officer A Balaji, Town Planning Supervisor G Saradamba, manager T Kanaka Raju, Revenue Inspectors B Haranath, R Penchalaiah, Junior Accountant Balasubramanyam, Dr Sekhar, ICDS Supervisor Lakshmi Devi and staff of AP Transco, Animal Husbandry and Revenue departments.
