Students urged to adopt villages

Guntur: Acharya Nagarjuna University vice-chancellor, Prof A Rajendra Prasad on Monday requested the students to adopt villages and serve people. He released the New Year calendar printed by the Lecturers Welfare Association at a programme held in the university. 

Speaking on this occasion, he conveyed New Year greetings to the professors, officials, staff and students in the institution and urged the NSS and NCC units to participate in the Janmabhoomi programme being conducted by the state government.  ANU professors and officials were also present at the calendar release event.
