Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao hit back at Opposition leader and YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his remark on the irrigation projects in the state.

Mentioning that YS Jagan has no awareness on the development of irrigation projects in Kadapa district, Devineni Uma further questioned the YSRCP leader who said that majority of the works of Gandikota and Chitravathi projects had been completed during the former CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy's regime.

The Opposition Chief had even alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been taking the credit of projects, which were almost completed by his father, YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

The Minister faulted YS Jagan as to why the Pulivendula constituency didn’t receive water after 2009 if the projects had been completed.

He further urged the YSRCP President to address the issues after knowing the actual facts.
