Two bodies found in canal

Eluru: Bodies of two youth were found at the mid-level canal near Darsiparru village in Pentapadu mandal in West Godavari district on Wednesday. According to police, Gundumogula Phani Sandeep (25) and Gundumogula Annavaram (24) of Darsiparru village ventured out from their houses on January 1 on a motorbike but did not return. Their parents and relatives searched for them but in vain.

Meanwhile, On Wednesday, some local people saw two bodies at the mid-level canal near Darsiparru village and informed the police immediately. Police reached the spot and saw the bodies on the bund of Darsiparru canal. Later, they searched the canal also. They found the motorbike in the canal at Racharla village. Pentapadu SI Subrahmanyam said under 174 IPC section a case has been registered.

He expressed doubt that they might be lost control over the vehicle and fell into the canal.   The deceased were identified as Sandeep, who had completed B Tech and staying at his house and searching for a job,  while Annavaram was a mason.
