AP Home Minister Escort Vehicle catches fire

Visakhapatnam: A vehicle escorting Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa caught fire at Kondala Agraharam in Visakhapatnam district on Friday morning. 

It is learnt that no occupants in the vehicle were hurt. The officials told police that the vehicle caught fire due to short circuit. The Minister was not in his vehicle when the mishap occurred. 

The escort vehicle completely reduced to ashes due to fire. The staff heaved a sigh of relief after the driver alerted them about the fire in the nick of the time. Further details on the incident are awaited. Cases like vehicles catching fire have become frequent in the Telugu states leaving trail of tragedies.
