He clarified that these JBMV venues are meant for discussing on development and welfare but not political issues. Naidu stated that the JBMV has been giving good opportunity to serve public.

“This would be a good platform for government to create awareness on the government programmes, welfare programmes and developmental activities among the public,” explained the Chief Minister.

Public participation is essential for success of the JBMV, observed the Chief Minister with the district collectors, JBMV nodal officials and
political leaders in the teleconference. He directed the  officials to work with coordination and cooperation among various departments.

The programme is not only aimed to address the grievances but also bringing satisfaction among public over the government programmes, observed the Chief Minister.

Creating awareness among rural population on the importance of development of their respective villages would yield positive results, he explained.

At every meeting, in villages and wards, there must be a photo exhibition, he directed and explained that the photo exhibition must showcase the developmental and welfare activities of that particular village, like cement roads, farm ponds, drainage system and others.

In this JBMV programme, the government will extend the benefit of pension scheme to more than 4 lakh individuals and with this, the total beneficiaries number will cross more than 50,50,000 in the state, Naidu said.

The public satisfaction was only 50 per cent among the villagers on the veterinary camps in the state, observed the Chief Minister and there was a need to improve the standards and quality of services in this regard.

He directed the animal husbandry department to ensure proper services at the veterinary camps. The Chief Minister directed the officials to provide working lunch to officials and others at the JBMV camps.

Attracting youth in the villages would contribute more for the development of villages, and for that the 5K run across the state on January 7 must be planned in a grand manner, he directed the officials.
