National meet on Internet of Things begins today
Visakhapatnam: The Computer Society of India (CSI), Visakhapatnam Chapter, in association with Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is organising IMPACT-2018, a national conference on Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence and computing trends, in the city on January 5 and 6.
According to Director (Commercial) of RINL and CSI, Visakhapatnam Chapter, Chairman Prabir Raychaudhury said that as the disruptive technologies are all set to transform business, global economy and lives, CSI, Visakhapatnam, is organising the conference to bring together researchers, engineers, developers and practitioners from academia, industry, government organisations, NGOs and MNCs to disseminate their knowledge, share their experiences and exchange ideas about the latest development and trends of the entire disruptive eco-system to find out how these disruptive technologies are changing the society in general and industries in particular.
He invited the CEOs, CIOs, IT professionals, IT enthusiasts, IT end-users, researchers, academicians, students to participate in the conference. He also invited manufacturers and start-ups to participate in the seminar to present and exhibit their products and services. CSI Visakhapatnam Chapter is an ‘A’ grade non- profit organisation with a 600 and more active members, 20 student branches spread in north Andhra region.
The conference with the contemporary theme has already evoked positive response among the IT circuit, Raychaudhury said. Chairman cum Managing Director of RINL P Madhusudan will inaugurate the conference and Chancellor of GITAM Prof K Ramakrishna Rao would be chief guest at the valedictory.
