Prisoner dies of heart attack

Srikakulam: A prisoner died of heart attack at Palakonda Sub-Jail on Friday. According to jail officials, the deceased prisoner was identified as K Seetharam Naidu (62) of Rajam town. The deceased was retired government teacher. 

He killed his only son Srikanth Naidu a week ago at his house in Rajam town in the wake of dispute among them over sale of land for his daughter’s marriage. The police arrested him on the charges of killing his son. The judicial magistrate court at Palakonda sent him to remand.

The accused was mentally upset for killing his own son and died of heart stroke. On information provided by the sub-jail authorities, Palakonda judicial magistrate conducted an inquest. The deceased is survived by wife and daughter and they lost support of male members.
