Steel plant plans: Central team visits Kadapa dist

Kadapa: A 15-member Central team inspected Paidipalem reservoir on Friday.  Representatives from Mecan Advisory Organisation,  State  Marketing Minister C  Audinarayana Reddy  visited to Jammalamadugu mandal  to study over feasibilities for establishment of Steel plant in Kadapa district.  

The team took note of water availability at Paidipalem reservoir, inspected nearby rail track, road ways  and other infrastructure facilities in the area. The committee also enquired about availability of lime stone dolomite in Kadapa district, and also iron ore in adjacent Anantapur district. Later they met the Distrsict Collector T BabuRao Naidu at Kadapa and discussed issues related to steel plant.
