26 red sanders seized, two held

Kadapa : Task force police have seized 26 red sander logs at Ravulapalle Chevruvu  village  of Khajipet mandal in the  wee hours on Sunday. According to the official sources, following a tip off, Task Force police have conducted raids at the Ravulapalle Cheruvu where the 26 red sander logs were hidden in the bushes.

Police arrested two wood cutters who belong to Tamil Nadu state. Some wood cutters were managed to escape into the darkness. Search is going on to nab the culprits, the police said. The arrested were shifted to the Khajipet police station.
