TDP will win 2019 elections: Yanamala

Kakinada: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that Rs 1,200 crores were released to Panchayati Raj department for taking up the link roads in rural areas in the State.

While participating in the Janmabhoomi Gramasabha at Amujuru village in K Gangavaram Mandal here on Monday, Ramakrishnudu said that the government was keen on providing amenities to the rural areas. They were implementing welfare programmes in large scale despite financial constraints.

The Minister said that the TDP government would win in 2019 elections because of the development works taken up in the State. Works relating to four-lane roads, development of Machilipatnam- Kathipudi NH-216 Road works are under progress and this would help for road connectivity to Krishna and Visakhapatnam districts. 

Kotipalli – Narasapur railway line would also help for the development of Konaseema.  Yanamala promised to sanction BC Residential School in Gangavaram Mandal in the next financial year. While responding to the request made by Ramachandrapuram MLA Thota Trimurthulu, the Minister said all the hostels in the State would be converted into residential schools to improve the quality of education. He further said that Janmabhoomi  programme is aimed at development of local areas and to redress public grievances.

Amalapuram MP P Ravindra Babu said that the works of Kotipalli- Narsapur railway works were commenced and would be completed  soon and this line would help for Tourism promotion as well for oil exploration. MLA Thota. Trimurthulu requested the Finance Minister for sanction of a bridge between Kotipalli and Mukteswaram under Sagaramala programme. 

The MLA also said that this would help to connect Kakinada port with the Konaseema which helps for exporting the Agriculture products and helps Konaseema people to reach the district headquarters in a short way.
